I build small things to understand how they work.
Mostly SwiftUI, local AI, web projects, and the occasional piece of hardware.
- Trying things early. New frameworks, APIs, and devices only really click for me once I've used them.
- Learning by building. Prototypes and side projects are how I find out what actually works.
- Mixing worlds. Native apps, the web, on-device AI, and microcontrollers all end up on the same desk.
- Writing it down. I share what I learn, rough edges included, so others don't have to hit them twice.
| Project | What it is |

| Localight | Private, on-device chat with Apple's Foundation Models on iOS. |
| Localframe | Fully local image generation with Apple's Image Playground models. |
| CoreAIChat | A native macOS showcase for Apple's Core AI framework. |
| Pingo | An open-source API scratchpad in the macOS menu bar. |
| DropSweep | A tiny menu bar tool that keeps the Downloads folder tidy. |
| NotificationManager | A Swift package for scheduling local notifications. |
| SX1278 | A MicroPython LoRa driver for the Raspberry Pi Pico and Pico 2. |
- Connecting external coding agents to Xcode — how Xcode's MCP server brings builds and the Simulator into the agentic loop.
- Programmatic image generation with Apple's Image Playground — custom, on-device generation with
ImageCreator. - Apple Core AI, in plain terms — a practical look at Apple's local runtime for your own models.
