Both ends of that turn into software eventually — something needs measuring, or simulating, or sorting, and nothing off the shelf quite fits. Some projects are local tools for my own workflow; others are public labs, references and research for anyone who finds the same questions interesting.
Stack Ledger — a public research ledger of the AI buildout, live here. It follows five connected layers: energy, chips, infrastructure, models and applications. I'm interested in what that buildout actually delivers: more power, skilled jobs, local investment and useful work, from software to robotics and medicine. Company histories, project trackers and sourced charts separate announcements and forecasts from measured progress. A locally hosted model helps research the evidence through a controlled, validated publishing loop.
RF Lab Reference — quick calculators and reference pages for a phone or tablet beside the VNA, live here. Power and voltage conversions, impedance matching, return loss and VSWR, large-signal behavior, and electrical delay — the things I want close at hand at the bench.
Field Catalog — culling and cataloguing for photographers who come home with more frames than time. Compare a burst frame by frame, keep the one that works, let the rest go. Identify the species, keep a life list, see where you shot it. Nothing leaves your machine unless you ask it to.
EE Labs — modeling tools for learning how signals, circuits and control behave, live here. Built because I find the math underneath all that behavior — and the way it intertwines — cool and interesting: an RLC network, a digital biquad and a plant in a feedback loop are one object in three vocabularies, so a model built in one tool hands over to the others exactly. One rule throughout: every explanatory sentence is a claim about physics, and a test has to measure it before the app is allowed to print it.
