The Search, module index, general index, and Download pages currently lack Previous/Next navigation and the “This page” sidebar actions. This PR adds both, including navigation through the split general index, while preserving the source-document order defined by
contents.rst.The sidebar provides “Report a bug” and “Improve this page”, plus links to the source templates for Search and Download.
meta_navigationextension supports split and unsplit indexes (we use split –html_split_index = True), disabled generated pages, and English and translated navigation labels.Screenshots
