My handle is a growth story in two syllables. 🌱 Iota is the smallest letter the Greek alphabet has to offer; star is what that smallest thing becomes when you keep showing up for it. Every project I've shipped started as an iota — one missing helper, one awkward API, one app that should have existed and didn't — and earned its asterisk the honest way: iteration. 🔁
By day I build the machinery: Rust and Java services with Axum and Spring, microservices engineered to fail loudly in logs and never in front of users. 🏗️ But I've never bought the dividing line between backend and frontend, because software is ultimately judged by a thumb tapping a screen. So I stay fluent across Flutter, React, Vue, Android, and TV — a great p99 is worthless if the button it serves feels dead. ⚡
My open-source home is fluttercandies, where I maintain a shelf of small, type-safe, dependency-lean Dart packages: routing, date-time math, concurrency limits, functional error handling, codegen. 🧩 The quiet infrastructure nobody notices — until it isn't there. Together with my own apps, they've gathered 1.7k+ ⭐ from people I'll never meet, and it still surprises me every time. 🎁

I love this one, because it's exactly how open source works. 🤖 Someone looked at a regular person with a clipboard and saw Gundam-level power — and you know what? Belief like that is load-bearing. Every package in the list above was once an iota: a tiny idea someone decided to treat like a mecha. Say something loud enough about small things, and they grow into stars. 🌟
- 🎯 Product first — software exists so a person can finish something they cared about; everything else is plumbing.
- 🪨 Push invariants into types — human memory is fallible; the compiler is not.
- ⚡ Latency is a feeling — users can't read your p99, but they can feel your 100 ms.
- 🧹 Boring on purpose — the best dependency is the one you forget you installed.
- 🔁 Small batches, real users — the feedback loop is the feature.
- 🔓 Default to open — strangers find the bugs you never would.
