AppleScript for batch timing editing in Aegisub

This script automates the process of editing timing for subtitles in Aegisub, allowing users to efficiently modify multiple subtitle all at once.

Instructions:

1. Select the Folder: Choose the folder containing the subtitle files.
2. Choose Timing Direction: Select the timing direction (Forward or Backward).
3. Enter Shift Time: Input the value for the time shift, e.g., 0:00:01.00.

Note

Make sure you go to aegisub settings "General" -> "Automatically load linked files" and select "Never" in case of the unexpected popup.
