"New stove that plugs into a normal wall outlet could be major gain for health and the climate"

    Diana Olick, CNBC

"Copper’s stoves use a lithium-iron phosphate battery — the same type found in many electric vehicles — to store energy and contribute it toward cooking heat."
Hilary Howard, The New York Times
"California is joining New York and Boston to spur a market for affordable electric heat pumps and induction stoves to decarbonize housing."

    Todd Woody, Bloomberg

"The California Public Utilities Commission signed off on a plan to spend $115 million over the next six years to develop and drive demand for the fossil-fuel-free equipment."

    Alison F. Takemura, Canary Media

"Switching from gas to electric? Here are 3 appliances that are easy to install"

    Jeff Brady, NPR

    Ben German, Axios

"Dozens of public housing apartments will get plug-in induction ranges."
    Jeanmarie Evelly, City Limits
"Someone please buy me this battery-powered, plug-in induction range."

    Amy Skorheim, Engadget

"I like that it has a soft, natural look even though it's a high-tech item."

    Lisa McManus, America's Test Kitchen

"Berkeley-based Copper was selected to supply 10,000 stoves to the New York City Housing Authority."

    Emily Pontecorvo, Heatmap

"Take the knobs on the induction range from Copper. Made of walnut, they let cooks know, without looking, the level of heat they’ve set a burner to."

Christopher Mims, The Wall Street Journal

"Both the convection oven and the cooktop have better temperature control than the gas alternative."
