“You’ll love every second.” “You’ll know exactly what to do.” “The moment you meet your baby, everything will just click.” What did everyone tell you about motherhood that turned out not to be true? We talk a lot about the joy of becoming a mother but we talk less about the fear, loneliness, anxiety, identity shifts, or the possibility that you can love your baby deeply and still be struggling. 1 in 5 mothers in the U.S. report symptoms of depression or anxiety, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders are among the most common complications during pregnancy and the first year after birth. Most maternal mental health conditions are temporary, and they're treatable. But so many moms are used to just pushing through instead of asking for help. The more honestly we talk about maternal mental health, the less alone mothers have to feel in the parts no one warned them about. You deserve support. Explore resources: LoveYourMind.com/moms. We're proud to see Chaunte Lowe, OLY take the stage at Amazon Ads' unBoxed this week. As a featured champion at our Public Service Award Dinner last year, Chaunté shared her story of resilience, perseverance, and hope that left a lasting impression on everyone in the room. At unBoxed, Chaunté shared further insights on her partnership with the Ad Council and Amazon Ads on The Mind Set, an innovative effort to help normalize conversations about mental health, and she explored how technology can help extend life-saving messages to audiences at scale. It's a powerful example of what can happen when purpose-driven storytelling and innovative technology come together to drive impact. We want to thank our board member Alan Moss for everything he did to make this partnership possible. And congratulations, Chaunté, on another powerful speech, and thank you for continuing to inspire others through your advocacy and leadership.

We’re proud to launch an extension of our “Love, Your Mind” campaign with a new effort focused on maternal mental health. The Secret to Motherhood aims to help new and expecting moms recognize that their mental health matters, and that caring for it is an essential part of caring for themselves, and their child. We’re proud to launch this initiative with support from Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, Huntsman Mental Health Foundation, Merck for Mothers and Perigee Fund. America is facing a skilled trades crisis: an estimated 2.1 million positions could go unfilled by 2030. Meanwhile, many young adults are unaware of how to pursue these careers. Today, we're proud to announce a collaboration between the Ad Council, Dycom Industries, Inc , Ford Motor Company, The Home Depot and the The Wallace Foundation to launch a new partnership dedicated to illuminating a path for the next generation of skilled trades professionals. Together, we're working toward a national public education campaign launching in 2027 to help young people see the opportunities skilled trades careers offer and the pathway to get there. https://lnkd.in/euSWqvYU

Knowing the early signs of Alzheimer's disease can help people distinguish between normal aging and potential warning signs of something more serious. On World Alzheimer's Day, we proudly launched the latest extension of our “Some Things Come with Age” campaign with the Alzheimer's Association®. More than 7.4 million Americans 65 and older are currently living with Alzheimer's, and that number is projected to nearly double by 2050. The new creative speaks directly to pre-care partners – those adults ages 35 to 54 with an older parent or spouse, who are often among the first to notice changes in a loved one's behavior. By helping this audience recognize these warning signs earlier, the campaign aims to educate on the difference between Alzheimer’s and typical age related changes and the benefits of an early diagnosis. Motor vehicle crashes remain a leading cause of death for children under 14 and research shows that when used correctly, car seats can reduce fatal injury risk by 71% for infants and 54% for toddlers. This Child Passenger Safety Week, we’re teaming up with National Highway Traffic Safety Administration NHTSA, BUCK, and Part and Sum to launch new work reminding parents and caregivers that routine car seat checks can help keep children safe on every ride. The new creative message is clear: parents don’t have to be car seat experts to protect their children on the road. NHTSA’s trusted resources make it easy for them to quickly verify that their children are in the right seat for their age and size. Remember: “They Grow. You Check.” Learn more about car seat safety at NHTSA.gov/TheRightSeat.
