Since arriving in San Francisco, I’ve been struck by how deeply creativity is woven into this city—from its art and music to its neighborhoods and the people imagining what comes next. For Gap Inc., that connection runs deep. We opened our first store here in 1969, and more than five decades later, San Francisco continues to inspire us. Today, we’re proud to announce our investment in the artists, makers and cultural institutions shaping the city’s future. Creativity brings people together, creates opportunity and helps communities thrive—and we want to help make more of it possible here in our hometown. Earlier this year, I joined Gap Inc. as its first Chief Entertainment Officer with a mandate to build and lead a new Entertainment division serving our portfolio of iconic brands: Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic and Athleta. Our work is organized around three connected pillars—licensing, original content and strategic partnerships—which together power our Fashiontainment platform. Today, we’re bringing that platform to life through our first initiative: a multi-year collaboration between Gap, Wexler Records and Republic Records. JYT amplifies the Fashiontainment flywheel in action. A docuseries co-produced by Gap, live fan experiences, a co-designed collection and activations for Encore members create interconnected touchpoints, giving consumers multiple ways to enter JYT’s world and deepen their connection with the group and the Gap brand. Our Fashiontainment platform is bigger than any single campaign or partnership. It brings content, licensing and strategic partnerships together with the reach of our brands, products, stores and membership ecosystem to build fandom, strengthen consumer relationships and create new opportunities for growth. Last week, our Bay Area employees joined thousands of participants for the JPMorganChase Corporate Challenge – one of the largest corporate running events in the country - running, walking and celebrating the city we've proudly called home for more than 50 years.   At Gap Inc., showing up for San Francisco can take many forms. Athleta is stepping onto the court and beyond it. Yesterday, the brand announced a multiyear partnership with the Golden State Valkyries as the team's Official Off-Court Apparel Partner, bringing together two Bay Area-born organizations united by a shared belief in the power of sport, community, and self-expression.   As women's sports continue to redefine culture, this partnership will create new ways for athletes and fans to connect through community programming, fan experiences, and future co-branded merchandise, all while deepening Athleta's investment in its hometown.    #GapInc #SanFrancisco
