In complex infrastructure programs, everything starts with the client’s vision. It sets the direction, priorities and outcomes that guide each decision. In music, that role belongs to the composer. That vision must then be translated into action, aligning teams and guiding the path forward. This is where HDR takes on the role of conductor. Through clear communication and steady coordination, we bring people, processes and priorities together, so each discipline works in harmony to deliver meaningful results. That is Program Management, Orchestrated. Discover how an integrated program management approach can help deliver better outcomes: https://lnkd.in/eKiRDuWz

The rapid expansion of AI is driving a new wave of hyperscale data center construction around the world, creating growing demands for power, land and other infrastructure. By 2030, data centers could account for an estimated 8.8% of the U.K.’s total electricity consumption, while grid availability and land constraints are already impacting development in major data center hubs. Paul Franklin MSc MRICS, technology, telecommunications and media market sector director for Europe, Middle East and Africa, was recently featured in World Construction Network, providing commentary on the U.K.’s AI data center power infrastructure challenge. What if a study could help reduce rework, strengthen stakeholder engagement and shorten the environmental review timeline on transportation projects, putting you in the best position to succeed? That's what new Transportation Research Board and Federal Highway Administration research found when evaluating the impact of Planning and Environment Linkages (PEL) studies. Led by HDR's team of environmental and economic professionals, and in partnership with CIG Public Relations, the study found that PELs help agencies carry planning decisions into NEPA to keep complex mobility projects moving forward more efficiently.
