Who is responsible for the processing of your data?
The person responsible for the processing of your data is SPOTLAB, S.L. (hereinafter, “SPOTLAB”) with registered office at Paseo de Juan XXIII, 36B, CP 28040 Madrid, Spain. What data do we collect and for what purposes and on what grounds do we process it?
SPOTLAB collects some of the personal data (in particular first name, surname and e-mail address) of the users.
Consent is the legal basis for the processing of your data. By entering their personal data in the optional email field on the website, users consent to the processing of their personal data by SPOTLAB.
The purpose of the data processing is to ensure the user the possibility to request a demo of the products and services, to subscribe to the newsletter and to contact SPOTLAB whenever necessary to ask for information, solve doubts or make suggestions.
SPOTLAB shall also use the e-mail address of those users who voluntarily provide it through the contact form available in the “Would you like to know more?”, “Contact”, “Request demo” and “Subscribe to newsletter” sections of the website, in order to deal with any requests, suggestions, complaints, demos and news that the user may send to SPOTLAB by this means. By submitting this form, the user consents to the processing of his/her e-mail address for the purposes described above.
How long will we keep your data?
The personal data to which access is obtained will be processed and retained for as long as the user’s consent is maintained for the purpose for which they were collected.
Once the personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected, they will be deleted. Where required by applicable law, the data will remain duly blocked for the period necessary to address any potential liabilities arising from the processing and will only be made available to competent Public Administrations, Judges and Courts or the Public Prosecutor’s Office. Once the applicable limitation periods have expired, the data will be permanently deleted.
To whom will we disclose your data?
Personal data may be accessed by SPOTLAB’s email and IT service providers where necessary to provide their services, acting on behalf of SPOTLAB. Personal data will not be disclosed to other third parties except where required by law.
International Data Transfers
Some of SPOTLAB’s service providers may process personal data in the United States. Where applicable, such transfers are based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or, where necessary, on appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. What are your rights when you provide us your data?
Users may, if they so wish, exercise their rights of access, rectification and deletion of data, as well as request the restriction of the processing of their personal data, object to the processing, request the portability of their data and not to be subject to automated individual decisions, by the following means:
- By sending a written request to the postal address indicated above.
- By sending a request to the e-mail address dpo@spotlab.org
In both cases, the user must attach a copy of their DNI, NIF or official document that identifies them.
The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of your consent before its withdrawal.
How have we obtained your data?
The personal data processed by SPOTLAB are directly provided by the user, on a voluntary basis, through the contact form made available in the “Would you like to know more?”, “Contact”, “Request demo”, in order to respond to requests, suggestions, complaints, demos and news that the user sends to SPOTLAB by this means. By sending this form, the user consents to the processing of his/her data for the purposes described above.
Before which authority can you exercise your claims?
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) through its website: www.aepd.es
Changes to this Privacy Policy
SPOTLAB reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy to adapt it to legislative or jurisprudential developments, as well as industry practices. In such cases, SPOTLAB will announce the changes on this page with reasonable notice before they are put into practice.
