We’re really excited to announce that we are relaunching Astra! ✨ Astra is Constellation’s fellowship to accelerate AI safety research and careers. Fellows will go through a 3-6 month, fully-funded program at our Berkeley research center, designed to accelerate projects and place exceptional people into long-term roles that tackle the risks of advanced AI. Over 80% of Astra’s first cohort went on to full-time roles in AI safety at organizations like Redwood Research, METR, Anthropic, OpenAI, CAISI, and UKAISI. Sounds like a cool program. Two queries: a) I'm not seeing any dates listed b) It's unclear to what extent participants pursue mentor projects vs their own ideas
