Computer science professor. I think of myself as an AI researcher, and that's what I got my PhD in, though it's gotten decreasingly clear what AI is as a field. I started out in symbolic AI, and still like logic programming and constraint solvers, though like everyone else I use a bunch of other things now too. Mostly apply AI to games (playing/analysis/design). Interested in various kinds of human/machine co-creation, computationally modeling design spaces, and history of technology.
