Hello!
It seems that any repository with Issues turned on has a banner displayed to any other user (but not to the repository owner), as follows:
The words "contributing guidelines" are an external link to
https://opensource.guide, which seems to be owned by GitHub - it's not something I recognize.I'd like it to feel low-friction and low-commitment to engage with my repositories if anyone happens to be interested, so I'd like to hide this.
Copilot said this banner is only shown if I have a CONTRIBUTING.md file somewhere, but I cannot find any, nor does that domain name (opensource.guide) return any results when I do a code search by owner across all my repositories.
I can't figure out how to switch the banner off. How can I do that?
Thank you in advance!
