This seems like a limitation caused by large diffs being loaded incrementally rather than the browser’s Ctrl+F itself.

For large PRs, GitHub could provide a dedicated “Search in diff” option that searches the complete changeset, including files that haven't been rendered yet.

That would be much more reliable for code review than depending on the browser’s Find feature or opening files individually.
