The Formula Fig partnership list is short. Our shelf stock is slim. The criteria for both is the same. There is something sacred about shared moments between guests and brands – especially those orchestrated by us. In the Fig Bar, our community gathers to learn. We decide which brands get to welcome and educate them in-person. We ask: does this brand's ethos align with ours? What will this partnership teach guests, rather than promote to them? Partnerships like Aramore, Avène, and Sleep or Die were chosen because each brand had a wealth of knowledge worth bringing to our community. Not because they had a viral moment, or a new launch to push. It is our duty to differentiate between a collaboration and a media placement. And it's why our partnership list will stay selective. #TheFigWay #BrandPartnerships

Two sources of expertise are behind FFFormulations. At our Fig Bars, Skin Educators spend days with hands on skin. They know which questions spring up the most at a treatment, and what products will stay in someone's rotation at home. And they know one of our products in particular firsthand; it's been used in Formula Fig facials for years. Our formulation partners select ingredient levels based on their intended function. They balance performance, stability, texture and compatibility through repeated rounds of development and testing. #FFFormulations exists because both forms of expertise are valued, and connected by the same question: how should a formula function in daily life?

If you’ve visited a Fig Bar, you’ve already felt how much thought goes into how a space works. We brought that same sentiment to FFFormulations. How much a pump dispenses. If the type is decipherable when you’re half-awake. The synergy of the four formulas together as a routine. How each bottle feels and functions in the world: in-shower, during travels, in changing rooms. Or in a moment of calm you booked for yourself at a Fig Bar. Our Skin Educators helped shape the formulas and the entire experience around them. By using them in treatments, unreleased, those same formulas now fold seamlessly into a real-life routine with the same level of consideration as in a Pod. #FFFormulations

That’s our founder, Jessica Walsh, with a bag full of FFFormulations samples. For weeks, it travelled with her between our lab partners, our Fig Bars and the treatment rooms. Inside were the formulas our Skin Educators would try, work with and respond to. Their feedback helped shape what ultimately made it into the bottles. After half a million Formula Fig facials, we know the question that follows an appointment: what should I be using at home? For years, we answered with other brilliant products. #FFFormulations is our own answer.

What makes a facial "bespoke"? While a preset facial is ideal for someone who knows what their skin needs that day, it follows a fixed protocol. But skin acts like skin: its condition and needs fluctuate, and sometimes we can't self-prescribe what is best for it. The Bespoke 60-Minute Facial builds the treatment around you. A Skin Educator reads your skin in real time, leading with diagnosis. Then they curate the protocol, compiling: ■ Diamond-tip microdermabrasion to resurface ■ Microcurrent to lift and tone ■ Radiofrequency to support collagen restructuring ■ Ultrasound to drive regeneration deeper ■ Pressurized oxygen serum infusion for cellular hydration ■ LED light therapy to support repair Because sometimes skin needs more than simply choosing off the menu. #FormulaFig #BespokeFacial #SkinHealth #HighTechFacial #TheFigWay

Why does the Formula Fig shelf look smaller than a typical beauty retailer's? Concise discovery wins over density. While a crowded shelf gives the illusion of choice, it actually widens the margin for trial and error. Guests do not need 30+ options to treat the same skin concern. They value three or four that are actually differentiated, weighed up against each other extensively by our team – and in the field of the treatment room, too. And rather than be informed on their decision based on a bestseller list, they get access to tailored guidance from someone who has handled their skin firsthand in the Pod, while also being well-versed on what guests are replenishing on repeat. Fewer SKUs for deeper context. It is a tradeoff that's worth it, to us. Spots on the shelf filled by distinction, not simply to address an empty space. #FormulaFig #RetailWithPurpose #TheFigWay #SkincareEdit #CuratedRetail

What is a Skin Educator? We know what it's not: a therapist. Yes, our guests leave with more insight into their skin (and in turn, themselves) than when they arrived. But they shouldn't feel like something needs to be fixed. Every treatment with a Skin Educator leaves each guest more informed and more confident. It's the kind of autonomy that truly only arrives with education. And that is why we chose that title. A Skin Educator can explain how a product is working at a cellular level, in realtime. They can detail what results may look like in the coming hours, days and weeks. They break down why that treatment is sequenced in a particular way, in true Formula Fig code. It spans so far beyond technical skill and a silent treatment room by default. Whether guests decide to learn before, during, or after their session is entirely their choice. Skin Educators are there to answer whatever a guest's "why" may be. #FormulaFig #SkinEducator #SkincareEducation #TheFigWay #ExpertLed

We review close to 100 brand submissions per quarter. Yet we curate our retail presence in the same way we design a skin treatment plan. For a product to make its way into the Formula Fig portfolio, it needs to prove itself in the Pod. Our Product Team assesses innovation in formula and delivery mechanism. Our Treatment Team verifies if it's a clinical fit within a 30-60 minute session. If it can then withstand the pressure of real-time testing on real skin, our Skin Educators and Fig Bar Managers give it the green light. Before it reaches a guest browsing on their own, its presence alone has already been decided with the guest's needs at the forefront. Products are not selected to fill a buzzy ingredient category, nor pad out a slimmer offering in one category. They are not chosen solely on the basis of being a new launch. If they make it past that initial review, it's because they're the answer to a question our guests have already been asking in the Pod. At Formula Fig, retail lives in tandem with treatment. It isn't an afterthought; it's an extension of what takes place between guest and expert. We are problem solvers, not space-fillers – and that is the distinction between a shelf and a formulary. Experience firsthand what earned its place. #FormulaFig #TheFigWay #RetailWithPurpose #SkincareEducation #ClinicalSkincare

"Needling" gets used a lot in skincare, and it does not always mean the same thing. Nanoneedling questions are one of the most common topics our Skin Educators field in consultations, so we put together the answers in one place. It works at the surface of the skin, temporarily increasing permeability so active ingredients absorb more effectively than they would on their own. Unlike microneedling, it does not go deeper or trigger a wound-healing response. The benefit is enhanced active delivery and surface renewal. The result is smoother, more refined skin texture, with skin appearing plumper and more supple and fine lines and pores less visible. There is no expected downtime, so you can return to your day immediately. Nanoneedling is built into the Collagen + Texture facial, and is one of the clearest examples of what we mean when we say treatment room expertise, brought home and made accessible. Uneven pigmentation is one of the most persistent concerns we see in the Pod. It can develop gradually, influenced by cumulative UV exposure, inflammation following breakouts, and, for some people, hormonal shifts. Often, the underlying pigment response has already begun before the changes become visible. Addressing visible pigmentation usually requires a layered approach: helping reduce pathways involved in excess pigment production, improving the appearance of existing discoloration, and pairing treatment with consistent daily sun protection. That thinking informed our Brightening Clarity Booster, now complimentary in every facial at Formula Fig this summer. The formula combines actives selected to support brighter, more even-looking skin across multiple pathways. ■ Tranexamic Acid helps address pathways involved in UV- and inflammation-related pigment production, supporting a more even-looking tone. ■ Kojic Acid and Alpha Arbutin help limit excess melanin production, supporting improvement in the appearance of dark spots and uneven tone over time.ting existing pigmentation and evening tone. ■ Ferulic Acid provides antioxidant support against environmental oxidative stress that can contribute to visible discoloration. Not one ingredient doing all the work, but a layered, considered approach. #TheFigWay #SummerSkinCare #SkinEducation #SkinPigmentation
