This week we took a meaningful step in how finance gets done, and it will benefit thousands of company finance functions. Two years after our initial vision and investment, this week CFGI announced the launch of “Automated Finance.” In a market full of agentic finance demos and proof of concepts, we focused on offering production-grade, measurable outcomes. How we did it and why this is differentiated? We recruited world class AI developers with deep experience in this domain and brought CFGI leaders across accounting advisory, tax, FP&A, transformation, cyber, and risk into the design. From the start, we built with the people who would scrutinize the work in mind: auditors, tax authorities, regulators, lenders, and investors. That meant making review, controls, and the trail behind each output part of the platform itself. We established alliances with leading tech vendors to be part of our ecosystem. And we invited independent technology leaders to challenge and harden the architecture, security, and adaptability. And before a broad launch, we set a bar of having 20 highly satisfied customers. We’ve reached it, with testimonials from virtually all of them. I’m particularly proud of what this means for our people. They’ll work alongside automation including agents, review its outputs, manage its risks, and help clients realize the value of AI while upholding the quality they’ve expected from CFGI for 25 years. From the clients’ perspective (our North Star), they still experience working directly with CFGI’s top professionals, now offered with a better cost , speed and value proposition.
