Job Title: Short Term Disability Case Specialist I
Location: Remote – U.S.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM EST
Contract: 6 Months
Hours: 40 hours/week
Pay Rate: $27 - $28.99/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking Short Term Disability Case Specialists to join a fast-paced claims team supporting a high volume of incoming cases. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and managing routine disability claims, evaluating documentation, making claim determinations, and providing timely service to claimants and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Review and manage routine Short Term Disability claims.
Review documentation, duration guidelines, and recommendations to determine appropriate claim disposition.
Make claim approval or denial determinations in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
Process claim payments within established authority and guidelines.
Required Qualifications
1+ year of customer service or financial services experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
