Reflecting back on my time at CERAWeek, this article succinctly captures one of the major topics of conversation as well as smart insights from leaders like Mike Wirth. The conversation around energy in the AI era continues to focus on capital allocation. Where capital flows increasingly determines which technologies scale, how quickly they mature, and which markets develop. In that sense, capital allocation is a primary driver of operating advantage. At the same time, these decisions aren’t being determined by a single player or sector. I’m seeing solutions take shape in conversations and collaborations between Seattle, Houston, Washington, and the communities they all serve, by energy providers, technology companies, and policymakers. The real opportunity for leaders is not just where to invest, but how to align investments to build systems (and partnerships) that are resilient, trusted, and capable of scaling impact over time. That requires commitment from all sides and the right partners ready to do the work.

#AI is no longer a futuristic concept - today it's already become central to how nations govern and serve citizens. Nowhere is this more true than in #India, where government strategy and public and private-sector adoption are driving a nationwide AI transformation. This was highlighted this month when India hosted a four-day 𝐀𝐈 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 attended by executives from major AI labs and Big Tech, including OpenAI, Anthropic, NVIDIA, Microsoft and Google. Further, this week Ness Digital Engineering appointed Sudip Singh as its next CEO - a leadership move that underscores the company’s intention to be a key partner in India’s AI-enabled growth story. Insights from ‘EdTech for Equity’: Reinforcing KITE’s Vision for Public Education. +++ Today's Fireside Chat with Kavita Sanghvi , Director - Education, Kotak Education Foundation, at the ‘EdTech for Equity - Critical Conversations’ conference provided an invaluable platform to discuss KITE's journey. It was a privilege to elaborate on the journey, challenges, and successes of implementing EdTech across Kerala’s public education system. My responses consistently highlighted our foundational principles: 1. FOSS (Free and Open Source Software): A commitment to accessible, adaptable, and cost-effective technological solutions. 2. Teacher's Autonomy: Empowering educators as central figures in digital integration, not just users. 3. Pedagogy-based Digital Content: Ensuring technology serves learning objectives, driven by educational theory, not just novelty. The engagement underscored the critical role of these pillars in building a robust, equitable, and sustainable digital learning environment for all students. My sincere thanks to IT for Change ( specially to Gurumurthy Kasinathan ) and Critical EdTech India for organizing this vital dialogue. #EdTechForEquity #KITEKerala #FOSS #TeachersAutonomy #Pedagogy #PublicEducation #DigitalTransformation #ITforChange
