When I was navigating my recent job search, the overwhelming support, guidance, and countless introductions from my network were invaluable. I am so incredibly grateful to everyone who helped open doors, connect me with new opportunities, and support me along the way—thank you. That same focus on building and nurturing relationships is exactly what excites me about my next chapter. I’m thrilled to share that I have joined the incredible team at Adyen, where I'll be focused on managing and scaling some of our largest global enterprise accounts! I couldn't be more thankful to the team for welcoming me with such open arms. To kick things off, I spent the last two weeks in Amsterdam immersing myself in training, customer meetings, and our global Connect Week. It was amazing to connect with peers from all over the world (there are nearly 5,000 of us now across 28 offices!) and to learn more about the company's culture firsthand at our global headquarters. Seeing the incredibly diverse backgrounds everyone brings to the table was inspiring, and I know this is just the start of many lasting relationships. As I look forward, I also want to take a moment to look back. A massive thank you to my former leaders and mentors at eBay, especially Avritti Khandurie Mittal, Vivin Ramamurthy, Alex Kazim, Omar Soudodi and Hester Seth. My time there was nothing short of magical, and I will always cherish the support, leadership, and partnership we shared. Here’s to new beginnings, building global connections, and this exciting new adventure! 🚀 #Adyen #AdyenConnect #ThisIsAdyen #LifeAtAdyen

In 2020, CEO Wayne Ting asked me to join the board and I've been honored to serve ever since. 💫 Yesterday were were officially listed on the Nasdaq under the ticker $LIME and rang the bell this morning. While an IPO is one financing milestone, it also represents the courage, innovation, and resilience of a team who has worked inch by inch and city by city, to bring micro-mobility to 105M+ riders in 29 countries clocking 1B trips and counting! 💚 I'm looking forward to continuing on the board to support Lime's leadership team in serving many more riders and cities as a public company. 🙌 Congratulations to all Limers globally! A heartfelt thank you to Wayne Ting, Ann Gugino, Emily Dancyger King, Susie Giordano, David Spielfogel, Joe Kraus, and to the whole board, particularly fellow board member Andrew Macdonald and the Uber team. Thank you Brad Bao and Toby Sun for the founding vision and to my former partners at Bain Capital Ventures (BCV) for the taking the leap! Ikechi Nzotta liked thisOnce AI systems begin producing signals that impact operations, a second question is inevitable - who actually owns the execution to respond to those signals? I learned the answer isn’t one person or team while building a 'god view' logistics and warehousing dashboard at HelloFresh. The business needed a single view of the metrics driving our inbound network - unit economics, network performance, utilization, throughput, operational delays, and the primary drivers of variance. Senior leadership needed weekly insights along with recommended actions. The data existed but it was scattered across databases owned by technical functions. So, a technical team built the dashboard. But because the operational team wasn’t managing the project, the output didn’t answer the questions the business actually needed. We ultimately rebuilt the platform with the operational team leading the effort and a dedicated data analytics manager embedded in the group. Yes, it meant starting over - but the result was business intelligence designed, informed, and approved by the people who run the operation. I’ve seen a similar pattern with AI initiatives. They work best when at least three areas of ownership are clear: 1) Strategic Authority - C-suite or senior executive approves and aligns and endorses the initiative 2) Operational Accountability - Business leader whose workflow changes informs the execution 3) Technical Enablement & Transformation - CIO and AI leadership build and integrate the capability AI initiatives often start in technology teams. They succeed when the operator responsible for the decision owns the outcome. They excel when leadership, operations, and technology are aligned around execution.

Our target customer is the professional who grew up in a low-to-moderate income household, broke through socioeconomic barriers, and now earns well, but lacks the inherited wealth, financial networks, or investment confidence their peers take for granted. We're not building another budgeting app or robo-advisor. We're creating pathways to mid-size investments that generate long-term wealth. While building XGI, I'm actively working with financial institutions on scopes of work at the intersection of behavioral finance and product strategy—stress-testing the exact assumptions underlying XGI's approach. If you're a first-generation professional navigating wealth-building, an investor interested in inclusive fintech, or someone who wants to help—I'd love to connect. #Fintech #WealthBuilding #FinancialInclusion

ACH vs. Real-Time Payments vs. OCT/AFT: What’s the Difference? The #Payments ecosystem offers various methods for moving money. Let’s compare three critical systems and their unique advantages: 1️⃣ ACH Transfers: Speed: Typically processed in batches, taking 1-3 business days (or same-day for Same Day ACH). Cost: Low fees make it great for payroll, bill payments, and recurring transactions. Use Case: Ideal for everyday transfers like direct deposits and business-to-business payments. 2️⃣ Real-Time Payments (RTP): Speed: Instantaneous—funds are moved and settled in seconds, 24/7. Cost: Generally higher than ACH but lower than wire transfers. Use Case: Perfect for urgent, high-priority payments like real estate transactions or account-to-account transfers. 3️⃣ OCT (Original Credit Transactions) and AFT (Account Funding Transactions): Speed: Near-instant transfers initiated via payment networks like Visa Direct or Mastercard Send. Cost: Typically higher due to network fees but offer incredible speed and reach. Use Case: Great for payouts like refunds, gig economy payments, and instant cash disbursements. Understanding when to use ACH, RTP, or OCT/AFT can make all the difference in optimizing costs and efficiency in your payment strategy. 🎓 Want to master the nuances of these payment methods? 👉 Get FREE access to our Intro to Payments course at the Payments Academy and learn how these systems power the modern payments industry. Looking for Banking & Payments Partnerships I’m currently exploring Banking Partnerships for CrushPe under a TSP (Technology Service Provider) and Partnership Referral Model. Our proposed model is simple and scalable: One-time integration of the bank’s CMS APIs with the CrushPe platform. CrushPe merchants use our open REST APIs for their payment/collection workflows. Merchant onboarding/KYC is completed at the bank’s end. Transaction settlement is made directly by the bank into the merchant’s bank account. CrushPe acts as the technology/API layer, enabling merchants to access banking capabilities through our platform. We are open to working with banks and other regulated financial institutions that are interested in technology partnerships, API integrations, and referral-led business models. If your organization is currently working on a similar TSP / API Banking / CMS / Merchant Onboarding / Settlement model, I’d be happy to connect and explore a potential partnership. 📩 DM me or comment below if you’re interested in discussing a partnership. ACH payments are a great choice for businesses and consumers alike. 🤝 ✅ It provides fast access to funds with reduced risk, has low transaction costs is ideal for recurring billing & high-ticket transactions, and is a reliable, increasingly popular payment method. But only if your payment processor makes it easy. CSG Forte’s and Netcracker Technology's ACH processing is built for businesses that need reliability at scale: 👉 $135B in 2025 processing volume – proven performance 👉 Same-day ACH and flexible cut-off times 👉 Payment channel flexibility across online, in-person, and phone 👉 One platform to manage all your payment methods – including ACH 👉 Technology tools to help with Nacha compliance 👉 Solutions to optimize transaction success rates 👉 A Nacha preferred partner status When ACH works this well, it’s not just a payment method, it’s a competitive advantage. Your credit union's mobile app is silently bleeding members to fintechs. 🚩 We keep seeing the same pattern: 60%+ of digital account openings start on mobile, but most CUs lose half those applicants before completion. Not because of slow servers or missing features — because of UX friction that compounds across every screen. The gap isn't what your app has. It's what happens between taps — confusing navigation, inconsistent gesture flows, accessibility barriers that silently exclude 1 in 5 members. We just published a complete member-first mobile UX/UI design guide covering WCAG 2.2 compliance, screen reader compatibility, and the form-flow architectures that actually reduce abandonment. Every applicant who drops off is a member who walks to a fintech. That's the real cost of ignoring mobile UX. Full playbook here: https://lnkd.in/guzVhwGn #CreditUnions #DigitalBanking

One of the more interesting shifts we are seeing in payments risk right now is that a growing share of losses isn’t coming from traditional fraud. It’s coming from disputed transactions that were originally legitimate. Chargebacks were designed as a consumer protection mechanism, not as a fraud prevention strategy. Yet many merchants are forced to rely on them as the primary way to deal with friendly fraud. By the time a dispute happens, the loss has already occurred. As the industry evolves, the bigger opportunity is strengthening transaction integrity and verification earlier in the payment lifecycle. Curious how others in the payments space are thinking about this shift. #Payments #Fintech #FraudPrevention #Chargebacks #RiskManagement #DigitalCommerce #ZeroRiskprocessing

FIS's $13.5B Worldpay Spinoff + Agentic Commerce Launch: The Payment Wars Just Got Real While everyone was focused on FIS divesting Worldpay for $13.5 billion, they missed the bigger story: FIS is betting big on agentic commerce to compete directly with Fiserv's recent power moves. Let me break down what's happening in the payment processing arms race: FIS's Strategic Play: The Worldpay spinoff isn't a retreat. It's a repositioning. FIS is shedding merchant acquiring to double down on bank-centric payment infrastructure with AI at its core. Their agentic commerce platform aims to embed intelligent payment orchestration directly into banking workflows, letting AI agents handle complex payment routing, fraud detection, and settlement optimization without human intervention. The Fiserv Comparison: Fiserv made headlines with their Visa and Mastercard partnerships on agentic commerce solutions. Those deals focused on the merchant side, enabling AI-powered payment acceptance and dynamic routing. But here's the difference: Fiserv is building from the merchant up, while FIS is building from the bank out. Fiserv's approach leverages their Clover and merchant acquiring strength. FIS's approach leverages their core banking relationships and back-office dominance. Two different starting points, same destination: AI agents managing the entire payment lifecycle. What This Means for Community Banks and Credit Unions: This matters because both players are forcing financial institutions to choose sides in an AI-powered payment ecosystem. The days of passive payment processing are over. Banks that don't integrate agentic commerce capabilities will watch transaction volume migrate to institutions that do. The winning institutions will be those that can offer: Real-time intelligent payment routing Predictive fraud prevention through AI agents Automated exception handling Dynamic fee optimization Embedded payment experiences in digital channels The Real Question: Can traditional community banks and credit unions implement these agentic commerce platforms fast enough to compete with neobanks that are building AI-native payment stacks from scratch? Or will they need specialized partners who understand both the legacy infrastructure constraints and the emerging AI capabilities? The payment landscape just shifted dramatically. The question isn't whether to adopt agentic AI in payments. The question is which platform ecosystem you're betting on and how quickly you can execute. #PaymentProcessing #AgenticAI #FIS #Fiserv #Fintech #BankingTechnology #AIinBanking #DigitalTransformation #CommunityBanking #PaymentInnovation #FinancialServices #CoreBanking #AgenticCommerce #PaymentOrchestration #FraudPrevention #BankingAI #FintechInnovation #DigitalPayments #FinancialTechnology #BankingStrategy

All human wisdom on the ACH rail has been contained in two words: wait and hope. GrailPay offers a third: know. $93 trillion moves across the ACH network every year. Yet businesses still have limited visibility into whether a payment will actually clear before the money moves. GrailPay is building a critical trust layer for the future of B2B payments. Now that March is here, financial institutions are about to cross the first major milestone under the new Nacha Operating Rules. For years, RDFIs had one core job: accept ACH credits and post them. Monitoring incoming funds for fraud? Not required. That ends now. Starting this month (large institutions) and June 2026 (all RDFIs), receiving banks must actively monitor inbound ACH credits for fraud and mule activity and return suspicious funds. Why is this a big deal? ACH fraud has a receiving-side problem. Mule accounts are where stolen money lands and under the old rules, and RDFIs weren't required to screen for it. Fraudsters built entire mule networks around that gap. Nacha just closed it. What RDFIs must now monitor in real time: → Mule behavior (velocity spikes, rapid movement, unrelated originators) → SEC code mismatches (like payroll without employment) → New or low-history accounts receiving large credits → Coordinated activity across multiple accounts Batch reviews won't cut it. Monitoring must integrate with Reg CC holds and the ACH Contact Registry. Who feels this the most? → Community + regional banks without inbound ACH monitoring → Fintechs and neobanks acting as RDFI of record → Sponsor banks running multiple ACH programs Compliance deadlines: 🗓️ March 20, 2026 - RDFIs with 10M+ ACH receipts 🗓️ June 19, 2026 - All RDFIs March is a milestone, but not the finish line. Ongoing rule refreshes, AI-enabled fraud, and cross-account mule networks will define the next phase of ACH risk ops. Next week, we're continuing the conversation with Nacha on what institutions should be preparing for next.

Why We Chose Deflection Over Interception You're getting bombarded with chargeback prevention pitches right now. I know - we see them too. "90% fewer chargebacks with Verifi & Ethoca!" "Automated alerts!" "20% below market rates!" Here's what they don't tell you: Most solutions do Interception. Alert comes in. Auto-refund. No chargeback, but sale is gone. We chose a different path: Deflection. When an alert comes in, transaction data gets sent to the bank instantly - device fingerprint, IP address, purchase history. In 30-50% of cases, the customer recognizes the purchase and hangs up. No dispute. No refund. Sale saved. Add Compelling Evidence 3.0 - used proactively during deflection, not just for representment after the fact. Add Smart Catch - invisible checkout screening before the transaction even completes. Add Elite Integration - 60% deflection rate vs. the 10% you get with basic DIY setup. And all of it in one platform. One integration. No need to stitch together five different tools. That's the difference between "fewer chargebacks" and "more money in your pocket." We didn't choose the cheapest solution. We chose the one that actually works. #payments #chargebacks #ecommerce #fintech #fraudprevention #vamp
