The primary objective of this series is to inspire and empower young girls to pursue technical careers, with a special focus on the field of High Performance Computing (HPC). During these interviews, we will feature women who are strong professionals in the technology field, including #EUMaster4HPC students, and PhD students, who will share their professional stories and experiences of being Women in Tech. Through these interviews, our aim is to challenge and dispel existing stereotypes and prejudices surrounding women in technical careers. Our interviewers confidently affirm that women who choose technical careers can achieve remarkable success in both business and research. Moreover, they serve as exceptional examples of individuals who have successfully balanced their careers, research activities, family life, and personal happiness. Бях излязла да изпратя няколко поръчки по Еконт и да си взема нещо за обяд. Всъщност вече беше късен следобед, а салатата пред мен чакаше първата хапка, когато телефонът звънна. Непознат номер. Отсреща се чу мъжки глас с лек американско-английски акцент. След поздрава ми той доста директно отбеляза, че според обявеното работно време би трябвало да има човек в ателието. Преди време вероятно щях да приема това като забележка. Може би дори щях да се подразня. Вместо това спокойно обясних, че съм излязла по работа и че мога да се върна след малко или да уговорим среща в удобно време. Тонът на разговора веднага се промени. Попита дали можем да се видим в събота сутринта. Не бях планирала да работя през уикенда, но се съгласих. Защото и аз съм клиент понякога. И знам колко е важно отсрещната страна да прояви разбиране, когато това е възможно. За мен беше достатъчно, че човекът беше дошъл на място, търсеше мен и въпреки че не ме беше намерил, беше готов да направи втори опит. В събота той не дойде в уговорения час. Но половин час по-късно се появи. Беше забравил. И знаете ли? Това изобщо не беше най-важното. По-важно беше, че и двамата избрахме да подходим с уважение един към друг, вместо с раздразнение. Понякога добрите неща се случват именно там - в малките жестове на разбиране между хората. А това са шоколадовите бонбони, които обсъдихме на тази среща и които впоследствие създадох специално за неговия проект.

Имах честта да бъда гост по покана на РУО Пловдив, в събитие по проекта „Силен старт“, организиран от МОН. На тази среща присъстваха над 200 педагози, изключителни хора, които "творят" бъдещето - нашите деца. За тях с удоволствие създадох нещо специално от шоколад. Понякога най-важните неща започват с нещо съвсем малко - един жест, един вкус, едно усещане. Така започнахме със силен старт, но изненадващо днес. Благодаря за поканата! Благодаря за доверието и за възможността да бъда част от този смислен контекст. 🤍

Често се хващам, че не почивам, понякога пропускам хранене, за да покрия и чужди задачи, правя повече отколкото е необходимо за деня. Но после психиката и тялото ми са пренатоварени. Имаме оправдания и време да се оправдаваме, а време за 5 минутки почивка? Кога намери време да се отпуснеш? Да дишаш? Вземи си време за себе си, за вдъхновение, за любимо "нищоправене". За шоколадова пауза, за масаж, за разходка, за онова, което ще ти донесе радост! Възнагради се за свършена задача. Не заради нещо специално. Понякога грижата за себе си започва с нещо съвсем малко. А защо не и с малко шоколад само за теб. Кой е твоят любим вкус?

Will they feel like a big fish in a small pond or a small fish in a big pond? Will they cope with the academic pressure? Dating, skidding on ice, finding the pharmacy for asthma medication and more. And a few weeks into the semester you read about a child who plunged five floors down, another found cold in a gorge. Even years later you shiver with goose bumps. Why are we not equipping our kids with more life skills? Making mental health an essential part of education is a must, with tools to self-monitor, alert, seek and get help easily and privately, anywhere, anytime.Diana Atanasova liked thisMental health in universities is usually framed as support offered outside the classroom. Diana Atanasova liked thisDiana Atanasova liked thisДали адреналинът ни дърпа напред?💥 Един такъв случай в миналото - поканата да създам брандирани шоколадови бонбони с уиски за Whisky Fest Sofia, дойде да осъзная, че предизвикателството е адреналин, а когато се справяме, то това е стъпка напред. Имах много кратък срок и задача, а никакво време - само седмица до събитието. Но самия факт, че можех да създам нещо ново от нулата, ме амбицира. А именно: бонбон, вдъхновен от уиски на Jura whisky brand. След серия бързи тестове с пълнежи и внимателно търсене на баланс между какао и уиски, за 48 часа бонбоните вече бяха готови и с ясно разпознаваем характер на JURA и брандирано лого върху всеки бонбон. Още няколко дни за производство и опаковане и бяхме навреме. 😀 Накрая тези бонбони станаха станаха част от подаръчен сет за лимитирани JURA, а също и партньор в дегустации по време и след фестивала. Успехът имаше дългосрочен ефект. Но все се питам, защо новите хоризонти в работата се появяват точно тогава, когато приемем задача, която първоначално изглежда почти невъзможна?

В България се отглежда невероятен гурме продукт и то в Долни Раковец - това е черният чесън. Знаете ли за него? Ако не сте чували, споделям Ви какви са фактите: черният чесън е изключителна супер храна, афродизиак и мощно средство за подмладяване и засилване на имунитета. Освен това открих, че сладкият му карамелен вкус, богат на естествено умами, с фин профил е прекрасен в комбинация с шоколада ми. Така един светъл ден направих този черен малък шедьовър. Благодаря на Владимир от Vampire's farm за това, че ми праща най-чистият и пресен черен чесън, който заслужено обра овациите на не едно и две събития. А Вие, бихте ли опитали такива смели вкусове? И ако да, кое би било наистина интригуващо за Вас?🤔
