We hosted our second Marketing Engineering Hackathon in San Francisco this weekend. 40 builders. 8 hours. $40,000 in prizes. Judged by marketing leaders hiring this new kind of builder: Cathleen Nurse (Google), Hannah Hughes (Plaid), Andy McCutcheon (TOAST), and Holly Chen (Samsara). The brief: Ship a system or an Agent that runs a marketing process inhuman in scope or scale, and here's what people built: • A tool that treats competitors' reviews as a lead list • A multi-agent workflow that wins AI citations in new markets • A brand-risk agent that decides whether, how, and where to respond • Interactive product testing that runs inside ChatGPT and Claude Congratulations to our winners Céline Günther (Senior Editor & Content Strategist, Clio) and Abhi Jothilingam (Growth Marketing Lead, Sendbird). As companies invest in Marketing Engineering, there's a growing need for a community that connects the people doing the work. That's why we created the Profound Community: a place for this growing discipline to connect, collaborate, and advance the work together. New episode of The Marketing Engineer Podcast with Luke Harries, Growth Lead at ElevenLabs. When Luke and his team started seeing success with webinars, they wanted to create a system to scale it as a growth channel. Six months later, the webinar process handled primarily by agents that created the content, generated the cover art, and identified the right segments to invite. By the end of H1, webinars had driven over $8 million in pipeline. They took the same approach to localizing ads. One Marketing Engineer replaced the work of an entire agency with a setup that covered tone, formality, and product names. In this episode, Luke breaks down how his team turns early signals of channel success into growth systems that keep running without them. Listen here → https://lnkd.in/gSJFEt6e
