Aerospace and defense communications solutions provider Fisica, Inc. has landed a contract to support the U.S. Space Force Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) program. Fisica's technology will help build worldwide radar systems that track what's happening in space to strengthen global security. We're proud to have Fisica as a NAIA member. https://lnkd.in/gmx_Ezqk

The U.S. shipbuilding industry needs 200,000 to 250,000 more skilled workers this decade. How does that gap get fixed? NAIA member Raise Robotics was recently profiled by Military.com for tackling the challenge head-on. By automating high-cost, time-consuming tasks like painting, its autonomous robotic systems are helping accelerate American shipbuilding when its needed the most. https://lnkd.in/eHcNBKta

The STRATA Act takes a smart, forward-looking approach to securing the critical minerals our economy depends on, investing in the researchers, and entrepreneurs developing new ways to produce, recycle, and replace these materials. NAIA supports this bill and thanks Senators Coons and Sheehy for their leadership. https://lnkd.in/eaR9NpyM

The next frontier is also a domain we have to defend. NAIA member Anduril Industries is bringing autonomy, advanced sensors, communications, and software-defined capabilities into orbit, including missions designed to operate in increasingly contested environments. American leadership in space will depend on our ability to operate, maneuver, and protect what we build there. For #worldspaceweek, we're spreading the word that that work is already underway.

Re:Build Manufacturing announced it will triple the size of its Rock Hill, SC, advanced manufacturing facility to meet surging customer demand. The NAIA member’s expanded facility significantly increases its capacity and capabilities across the aerospace, defense, energy, electrification, medical, robotics, and industrial markets, allowing the company to take on more work without sacrificing quality. https://lnkd.in/ei_G-b-w

NAIA member Anduril Industries has partnered with the U.S. Navy on a $6.6 billion investment to build a new software-defined shipyard in Baltimore County, MD. Designed to drastically speed up submarine production, the project will create 3,100 direct jobs, more than 11,000 indirect jobs, and $2 billion in annual economic output. Building on its historic legacy as an American shipbuilding powerhouse during World War II, Baltimore is once again leading America’s defense of the high seas. https://lnkd.in/gF_5NTNw

Getting to space is only the beginning. NAIA member Impulse Space is building the infrastructure to move once we get there, developing spacecraft and propulsion systems designed to move payloads quickly and precisely between orbits. And they're scaling fast: Impulse recently expanded its Series D to a combined $808 million and was awarded a $28 million Space Force contract for a future space domain awareness mission. Launch gets you off the ground. Mobility opens the frontier. #WorldSpaceWeek
