Every image MagicSchool generates goes through a moderation pipeline before it reaches a classroom. Caroline Humphrey, Staff Product Manager at MagicSchool, explains how grade level and pedagogical context shape each image, and how our moderation pipeline vets results so they're ready to share with students and teachers. This clip comes from our Tech & Learning Awards of Excellence session, where Caroline also demos the new presentation generator and answers audience questions on curriculum and pedagogy. Denver Public Schools spent a year deciding what it would trust with its classrooms before a single teacher logged in. Their AI Steering Committee ran a structured pilot, issued an RFP, and let teacher, student, and community feedback guide the decision. The result is a rollout built on the district’s own AI guidance, with custom tools for departments from special education to communications. In a new case study from Common Sense Privacy, DPS and MagicSchool share how independent validation, strong safeguards, and a thoughtful approach to implementation helped build trust along the way. Kali Peracchia, Ph.D. , Lead AI Instructional Specialist at Denver Public Schools, describes the partnership as “thoughtful, exciting, and responsible.” What does it take to build trust in a district-wide AI partnership? As a teacher, Adeel Khan would’ve done anything for more time with his students. He dreamed about an assistant that could aid exhausted educators and help address each student’s individual struggles. When he built MagicSchool AI and saw the positive responses from both teachers and students, he knew he was onto something. Claude powers MagicSchool’s safe, student-facing AI experiences. Students can get instant, personalized feedback on writing, helping them develop stronger ideas independently. One Temecula Valley USD teacher said it helped students produce some of the best writing she’d ever seen. Find out how MagicSchool is reshaping education today: https://lnkd.in/eJMZFBmX

Parents can use MagicSchool too 💜✨
It's rare to use the product you sell at home. This weekend I did. My daughter started Geometry earlier this year and was recently stuck on compass-and-straightedge constructions. In seconds, MagicSchool generated this full step-by-step visual tutorial for constructing an angle bisector, explaining not just what to do, but WHY it works mathematically (SSS congruence proof included). And then with a couple of manual finishing touches of my own (which I always recommend btw), I had something I could put in front of her that she can always go back to reference. It's so rewarding to work for a company whose product is legitimately impacting my daughter's education in real time. Parents and teachers — what's a concept you wish someone had explained visually to you? Drop it below, and even better, try it in MagicSchool AI and let me know how it goes! #EdTech #MathEducation #AIinEducation #MagicSchool

Across K–12, districts are taking a range of approaches to student AI, from limiting access to consumer tools to introducing carefully guided, teacher-led experiences. Wherever they’re starting, many are working through the same question: How can we better understand and guide the AI use already happening? New research commissioned by MagicSchool and conducted by Hanover Research surfaced a meaningful gap: • 92% of respondents said their school or district is piloting or operationalizing AI for student use • Only 23% said educators have a great deal of visibility into how students are using AI • 95% agreed that students should build AI literacy Our new report, Guiding the next phase of AI in K–12, explores what’s behind the visibility gap and shares four practical steps districts can take to guide AI use more consistently across schools. Taylor Swift dropped her Encore last Friday, and guess what? We have one too. ⭐️ MagicSchool’s Presentation Generator got some new features this week, so naturally, we put it to the test with the four new Taylor Swift songs and a sample high school learning target. The result was a fun storytelling lesson covering narrative arc, point of view, imagery, and symbolism—complete with slides, AI-generated images, multiple layouts, and export to Google Slides or PowerPoint. The same idea can work with anything students care about. Bring the hook, add the learning goal, and let Presentation Generator help bring your lesson to life. Teachers already have the great ideas. ✨ This month’s Magic Drop is about making them easier to bring to life. New in MagicSchool: a presentation generator that turns learning objectives into a classroom-ready deck in seconds, a custom image generator for visuals you can’t find anywhere else, formatting that carries over when you export to Word, Google Docs, or print, and Raina now automatically pulls in the grade level and subject a teacher set in their profile. Less setup. More teaching. 💜 MagicSchool is free for teachers. Everything in this drop is available now. Read about the new features in our latest blog post linked in the comments.👇 #MagicSchool #AIforEducation #MagicDrop

Denver Public Schools restricted teacher access to ChatGPT in early 2026. In that same stretch, it trained 1,200 teachers on 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗔𝗜, launched a student advisory council, and named it the district's only approved K-12 AI tool. Same district, two very different calls. The difference wasn't which tool writes a better lesson plan. It was which one was built with a classroom, and a district's due diligence, in mind from the start. Our latest case study goes inside that decision: the year-long pilot, the "intentional friction" our 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿 MagicSchool AI builds into its product to keep student data out of prompts in the first place, and how an independent Seal evaluation gave the district something to point to besides a vendor's own word. District Knowledge puts your district's actual documents to work across every tool and every Raina response. Admins upload instructional frameworks, pacing guides, IEP forms, and acceptable use policies once. Every teacher in the district gets that context, with citations back to the source, every time they generate something in MagicSchool. A teacher typed 9 words about a small group reading intervention. MagicSchool surfaced the district-approved Tier 2 programs and cited where that came from. She didn't have to know which document to check. It was already there. Start with the document you wish every teacher had in their hand when they sat down to plan. #DistrictLeadership #AIinEducation #MagicSchool
