It’s amazing what can happen in just a few months when you’re surrounded by creativity, great people and new opportunities to learn, contribute and grow. I’ve already had the chance to dive into some exciting projects, stretch myself in new ways, and most importantly, have fun doing it. A day at Camp BAC wouldn’t be complete without getting a closer look at the art and science behind fine fragrance. A special thank you to Chief Innovation Officer and Chief Perfumer Jerry Bellak for leading our campers through the Wild Atelier and inviting them into the creative process behind fragrance development. Jerry gave each camper the opportunity to explore how a curated selection of ingredients can come together to tell a story and create a distinct olfactive experience. From Vendemmia, inspired by the Sicilian coast and featuring essences of Sauvignon grape leaves and white iris, to Foraged Black Fig, blending green mandarin, fig leaf and smoked mahogany, campers experienced firsthand how inspiration, ingredients and creativity intersect to bring a fragrance concept to life. 🏆 Celebrating a Legacy: Pat Halle "For the Love of the Game" Award At the WFFC’s 31st Annual Golf Outing & Clinic, we were honored to present Bob Daly of Belle Aire Creations with the Pat Halle "For the Love of the Game" Award. The award honors the legacy of Pat Halle, a founding member of WFFC who dedicated nearly 50 years of her career to purchasing ingredients for the flavor and fragrance industry. Pat began her career at Dragoco before moving to J. Manheimer and later Ungerer & Company, where she served as Director of Purchasing. Pat passed away on May 16, 2022, but her legacy continues through the love of her family, her unwavering loyalty to her friends and the lasting impact she made on our industry and community. Established in her honor, the For the Love of the Game Award is presented annually at the WFFC Golf Outing & Clinic to recognize someone who embodies that same spirit of camaraderie, dedication and love for the industry. Congratulations, Bob, and thank you for all that you bring to our community.
