𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺! This summer, I had the opportunity to co-host a Finance Leader Dinner in NYC with Anrok, alongside Vayu, PwC, and Abacum. The room brought together finance leaders and operators across the NYC tech ecosystem, and the conversation quickly went beyond the usual AI discussion. We talked about what happens when 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗰: • How do finance teams move faster while still maintaining trust, context, and control? • What does AI actually change inside the finance function? • And perhaps most importantly, where does technology genuinely create leverage, versus simply creating more noise? As a woman working in FinTech, I loved being part of a room where people could put the talking points aside and have honest conversations about what they're actually seeing in their businesses. These are exactly the conversations I want to keep learning from and contributing to. Huge thanks to those who helped bring the evening together and to everyone who joined us. 🥂 #FinTech #Finance #AI #SaaS #Revenue #WomenInTech

California and Colorado start taxing SaaS on Jan. 1, 2027. If you sell software into these states, this lands on your invoices in roughly three months. The questions we're hearing from finance teams every week: → Is my product in scope, and at what rate? → What do I tell customers before the first taxed invoice goes out? → What happens to contracts that straddle the effective date? On Oct. 21, Anrok's tax experts will walk through the rules as they stand, what's still being finalized, and the steps worth taking before January. Avoid the fire drill and save your seat: https://lnkd.in/grVJDUaQ

Companies that took five years to go global are doing it in one. And in many cases, the tax stack hasn't caught up. The US engine doesn't speak VAT, the VAT provider doesn't know US sales tax, and someone on your finance team becomes the human integration layer between them. Borderless compliance means the border stops being a compliance project: → US sales tax and VAT/GST in one platform, one data model → Real-time exposure monitoring before you cross a threshold, in any country → In-app registrations and filing across 150+ countries, backed by dedicated tax experts Whether it's your first state or your 40th country, expansion should be a line item that's already handled. Most finance teams don't think about a sales tax audit until the notice shows up. By then, pulling records and reconstructing your nexus history is a lot harder than it needs to be. Watch Anrok, KPMG, Fresh FP&A, and OTTO-MATES walk through every phase of a sales tax or VAT audit, and exactly what to do at each step. Watch here: https://lnkd.in/gvnZFPjD

Customers are increasingly moving away from legacy point solutions rebranded as AI. Our CEO Brad Silicani joined Jack Arrix from Campfire on stage at the Jefferies AI Summit, in a conversation with Brent Thill. A few things stood out: → Many legacy tools are rebranding as AI native, but they don't have a single AI customer running on them today. Businesses can tell the difference, and they're choosing modern, consolidated platforms instead. → AI gives the office of the CFO a real lift, especially in speed of deployment and execution. But the regulatory pieces underneath still need to be right 100% of the time. Speed shouldn't excuse getting the number wrong. → Partnership and collaboration is increasingly prevalent and important between modern finance solutions, which is why Anrok has prioritized deep ties with players across the ecosystem, including Campfire. Thanks for having us Maximilian J. and team!
