Catching up a bit, but thinking back to what an incredible #HRX2026 it was in Atlanta. HRX Live was booming this year with fantastic sessions, presentations, and engagement across a multitude of stakeholders. I had the pleasure of moderating a main stage sessions with Natalia Trayanova Peter Noseworthy, MD, Ivan Nenadic, MD, PhD, Bleron Baraliu, and Zak Loring. It was refreshing to get into some technical nuance and underlying mathematical considerations as we discussed "Latent Intelligence and Patient Needs: Clinical Judgement in AI-Driven Electrophysiology" while exploring how internal reasoning states of AI models will change and impact clinical care. We also had a very pragmatic discussion during the "Drowning in Alerts: How AI is Redifining What Deserves Clinical Attention in Remote Monitoring" session expertly moderated by Manish Wadhwa alongside great insights from Tina Baykaner, Prof. Dr. David DunckerRakesh Gopinathannair, Arnaud Rosier, and Elaine Wan, MD, FHRS, FAHA, FACC The roundtable session we held on "Matching the Monitoring Tool to the clinical Question: Software-Led ECG Analytics in Practice" was deeply practical in scope and key points from my fellow panelists spanning specialists to PCP offices. Congrats to the other speakers in the session for a meaningful discussion: Nicholas Peters, Jennifer Peña, MD, FACP, AAHIVS, MRO, Christian Sohns, Natalia Trayanova, and Manish Wadhwa. Another important roundtable we held was "Beyond the ECG: Building the Future of Cardiovascular AI with Ambulatory Monitoring Data." This was really fun. We dug deep into some very practical caveats to machine learning deployment with exceptional moderation by David Ludwig and brilliant discussion among my fellow discussants: Ian A. Lentnek, MD, Hamid Ghanbari, Matthew Kalscheur, and John Triedman. We got into some engineering and informatics concepts that are vital for deployments of AI tools at scale. Thank you to some the sponsors of these sessions and their support of @HRX2026: Philips, AccurKardia, 91Life, Implicity A hearty congratulations to Prashanthan Sanders and Jonathan Piccini, MD, MHS on a hugely successful conference and congratulations to Heart Rhythm Society and the HRX production team for putting together such a well-organized and thoughtful meeting, building on great previous work from Suneet Mittal. Excited for next year in Dallas with Dr. Devi G Nair, MD, FACC, FHRS as a co-producer.
