I lead focused teams building applied models at the intersection of digital and physical technology, with 10+ years of experience turning generative research into real-world products. Currently I lead a research team at Google Deepmind focused on specialized Gemma models.

I've also contributed to Gemini model development and products such as NotebookLM and Project Mariner . You can find my work on Google Scholar , my blog, on my YouTube channel, or in my text books.

Prior to LLMs, I led a team building bespoke probabilistic Bayesian models for organizations such as SpaceX.
